About the Performance

Following last year’s sold-out success, “Christmas with Cirkus Cirkör” returns to Uppsala Konsert & Kongress. From December 9–12, 2026, there will be four exclusive evenings where modern circus and the flavors of Christmas come together in a format created especially for UKK.

With acrobatics, balancing acts, and innovative performing arts, some of the Nordic region’s leading circus artists transform the entire auditorium into part of the experience. At the same time, an exclusive Christmas buffet is served in four courses, where classic favorites are paired with creative touches and carefully selected flavor combinations.

The result is a holistic experience that sets itself apart from the traditional Christmas show—an evening where the performing arts and gastronomy come together, where community takes center stage, and where every course becomes part of the story. Perfect for friends, family, colleagues, and companies looking to come together for a memorable experience.

Dinner – a Taste Performance in Five Acts

The evening’s menu is crafted by UKK’s kitchen team – classic Christmas flavors with playful elements, unexpected combinations, and a pinch of circus magic.

Upon arrival, guests are served welcome mulled wine with delicious snacks.

First course: Herring and salmon

An appetizing starter where classic Christmas flavors meet new notes from the sea.
Västerbotten tart with pickled herring and whipped browned butter
Mustard herring with confit potatoes and dill powder
Matjes herring tart with basil on a crispbread base
Smoked salmon mousse with pickled apple
Royale with gravad lax, red onion, and whitefish roe
Crispbread and cream cheese

Second Course: Pork and Poultry

A flavorful interlude featuring rustic favorites, winter spices, and well-balanced contrasts.
Slow-roasted pork with grilled beets and pickled mustard seeds
Country pâté with pistachios and walnuts, mulled wine-simmered caramelized onions, and horseradish cream
Malt bread with hot-smoked turkey, Skåne mustard, and apple

Third course: Jansson and Christmas sausage

Tonight’s main attraction—well-known Christmas classics with a new twist.

Fourth Course: Dessert and Sweets

A delightful finale filled with the scents, flavors, and little treats of Christmas.
