About the Performance
Welcome to a St. Stephen’s Day concert with Uppsala Cathedral Boys’ Choir that cherishes the traditions of Lucia, St. Stephen the Stable Boy, and the Star Boys. The concert is one of few that puts the Star Boys at the center, and a large part of the concert program revolves around Saint Stephen.
The concert always concludes with a newly written Christmas entertainment piece each year, with script and song arrangements written by choir members.
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! is a well-established part of Uppsala’s cultural life with traditions dating back to the 1970s.
