About the Performance
The Pancake Cake is perhaps the most beloved book of all, written by Sven Nordqvist about Pettson & Findus. The show, based on the book, tells the story of the cat’s birthday – which he does three times a year!
As always when it’s Findus’ birthday, a pancake cake is baked. Soon he discovers that he has run out of flour, and Pettson decides to cycle to the shop to get the necessary supplies. But, then it turns out that there is a flat tire on the bike, and that’s when things get really complicated … Everything works out in the end, and even the neighbor Gustafsson is invited to the pancake cake party.
55 minutes of entertainment with an involuntary visit to the well, a visit from both a neighbor and an escaped bull, and a truly involuntary sitting in a basket of eggs!
