Age Limits at UKK
13 years
This is the most common age limit for our concerts and events. This is due to the Public Health Agency’s general recommendations regarding children and sound levels. Children under 13 years are not admitted to the venue – not even when accompanied by a guardian.
Many wonder why parents themselves are not allowed to take responsibility for their child’s hearing at a concert, for example by using hearing protection. The intention of the Public Health Agency’s general recommendations is to protect the hearing of all children – regardless of whether they have guardians who are aware of how to protect themselves against loud sounds or not. Therefore, this responsibility always lies with the organizer and cannot be transferred to the visitor according to legislation.
18 Years
For our concerts and events with standing room, an age limit of 18 years generally applies. Visitors should be prepared to show identification on site when entering the event and at the bars.
Exception for young people over 13 years when accompanied by a guardian
To be able to bring your teenager to an event with an age limit of 18 years, the following is required:
- Purchase tickets at our box office, either on site or by phone at 018 727 90 00. Our ticket staff will then ensure that you receive a place on the limited list available for minors before purchase
- Upon arrival at the event, you and your child report to the audience host, show identification, and receive information about what applies for the evening
Infants
There are reasons to be cautious with infants in connection with concerts and events since small children are particularly sensitive to loud sounds. For this reason, and to avoid disturbing other visitors’ experience, our recommendation is not to bring infants to events regardless of age limit.
